Anaconda III offers the Ausi Open Water Dive Course at an introductory price for a limited time.
Course consists of 2 days pool and theory at Reefo's Resort in Cannonvale close to Airlie Beach and then 3 days 3 nights on Anaconda III and finishing off your practical dives for the course. Extra dives are available for purchase on Anaconda III (arranged when checking in).
Who is AUSI?
Australian Underwater Scuba Instructors conduct an Open Water Dive Course that is recognised world wide by all dive operators and organisations. Courses are conducted to the highest Australian standard. Upon successful completion of your dive course you will be able to dive anywhere in the world with your internationally recognised qualification.
Course Commences:
Every Monday and Thursday at 9.00am at Reefo's Resort Cannonvale. All details are given when you check in at Airlie Beach.
Medical Dive Certificate:
All students are required by law to obtain a medical dive certificate which requires an examination by a dive doctor. This is best done the day before you commence your course in Airlie Beach and is arranged by yourself by contacting or going to either of the following medical centres.

Anaconda III departure:
After you spend 2 days on pool and theory you will board Anaconda III on a Tuesday or a Friday evening.

Medical Dive Certificate
Passport Photo for divers id card
Towel and swimmers
Lunch or Lunch money
Pad & Pencil
Note:
Some Medical conditions and or medication may stop you from participating in Scuba Diving these include Asthma or wheezing. Brain spinal cord or nervous disorder, chronic bronchitis or persistent chest complaint, chronic sinus, collapsed lung, diabetes mellitis, chest surgery, Epilepsy, Fainting, Seizure or blackouts, Heart Disease of any kind, recurrent ear problems when flying, tuberculosis or other long-term lung disease and High blood pressure.
Transfers:
Reservations will advise students of the local bus service which can be utilised to travel the short distance to Reefo's Resort at Cannonvale.

3 Theory Sessions — Intro to Scuba, Scuba Equipment, The underwater diver.
3 Pool Sessions
Day 2:
3 Theory Sessions — Dive Planning, Diving First Aid, Exam
2 Pool Sessions - Board Anaconda III
Day 3 - 4 - 5
4 open water dives on board Anaconda III, additional dive can be organised on board at extra cost.
